Hi, I’m Dan, one of the PGA Trainee Coaches at Launch Golf Academy!
My golfing journey began at the age of 10, when I started attending junior roll-up sessions at Shropshire Golf Centre. At 12, I moved to 3 Hammers Golf Complex, where I continued to develop my game through junior classes and individual lessons.
At 15, I earned my first selection for the Shropshire and Herefordshire U16s squad. From there, I continued to develop as a player, competing in tournaments across the Midlands. One of my highlights came at the age of 16, when I made the cut at the Welsh Youths Championship.
After leaving secondary school, I spent two years at Hartpury College in Gloucester, completing a golf-specific Sports BTEC. This gave me the opportunity to develop my understanding of the game and sparked my passion for coaching, alongside continuing to improve my own golf.
I’m now in my second year of the PGA training programme and have gained my Level 1 coaching qualification. I enjoy working with golfers of all abilities, tailoring each lesson to their individual needs, goals and experience. Using technology such as the FlightScope Mevo Gen2 launch monitor, alongside personalised recap videos through the Skillest coaching platform, I aim to make lessons engaging, informative and useful both on and off the range.
My goal is to help every player improve, develop confidence and get more enjoyment out of their golf. Whether you’re just starting out, looking to become more consistent or aiming to take your game to the next level, I want to help you get there while enjoying the process along the way!
